Interested in Joining IMS/GLC? There are three options for participation.
The two primary ways to participate across all IMS groups and activities are as a Contributing Member (CM) or Subscriber. Contributing Member organizations have full voting privileges and generally lead the IMS workgroups and activities. Subscriber organizations have early access to standards under development and all alliances, such as the Common Cartridge Alliance. Contributing Member
IMS Contributing Members have voting representation on the IMS Technical Board and participate in the governance of IMS. Subscription
Subscription provides benefits for both developers and end-users.
Subscription provides an environment for developers and end-users to collaborate on tools, techniques, and trials of distributed learning products and delivery systems. If you are a product or service company implementing or using IMS specifications you are strongly encouraged to may join the IMS Subscribers to indicate your support for open specifications development. In return IMS provides tools to make implementation of the specifications much more productive and effective and will update you directly on any changes or improvements.
Subscription also enabling broad participation in the activities of IMS/GLC by end-user organizations, such as, such as educational
institutions, school districts, and the training or human resources units of corporations for the sharing of best practices in learning technology innovation.

Common Cartridge Alliance
The CC Alliance is an online community of vendors, user institutions and practitioners committed to advancing the use of the IMS family of content-related specifications encompassing:
